maths

for this past week Davies maths has been looking at bedmas to which is a way to help with are maths here are the questions we had to figure out today during maths

problem 1 answer is 9 cause 6 2 =3 and 1 + 2 also = 3 and the little ( thing bewteen them both means x so 3 x 3 =9 .
problem 2 answer is 41 it was really hard to get there and it hard to explain how we did.
problem 3 answer is -18 this one i was stuck on for awhile and at first got -1.2 but then i just redid it and got -18

BEDMAS

this past week we've been looking into more detail of what it is and how to use it , here is a stop motion that me and my friends Mia and Kasey made here it is .

 this past week for inquiry we have been learning about Africa and its fact and stuff we also learnt how to use adobe spark where we made a website and put are Africa stuff on here is mine and Kasey link to are adobe spark

This term I will be working on my number knowledge on these bricks 17, 19 and 23 this means I will have to be working on multiplication with 6,7,8 and 9 and with my divison 3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9, I will also be working with factors of numbers up to 100 .

Wasted time radio

This term we have been doing media for inquiry i picked radio media and i teamed up with my friend Deana had made a radio show which everyone did with there buddy or group of 3 , me and Deana picked to talk about hobbies and what they are and some that we have at school we talked about them for a little and we both had a little laugh , the writing of this all was harder then we thought but we got it done anyway so here is mine and Deana talk show called wasted time.

this past week or 2 Davos has been doing some persuasive writing , there were 3 topics you could pick to write about and I picked one about families needing to spend more time together because to me it sounded like an important topic to write about, and here is mine.

REFUGEE week 6 create task

here is my week create task for week 6 we didn't do a week 5 task cause we caught up all are work that we were not on track with but here is what I did for week 6 create, there are some words in the book that are very hard words to under stand so as one of the task you can puck out of you can pick to see what the meaning of those words mean so I did that and these are the words we got given this week.

REFUGEE

in reading we are reading a book about world wars in different countries and how people became refugee, each week we have to do a week create so far we have done 4 creates or more if you wanted to do another but here are my 4 week creates.
the first one is the world map with arrows pointing at Syria,Cuba,Germany everyone in the reading group did that one
the second one was the before and after of the countries the before what the country looked like before they had there wars and the after is what it looked like after there wars, the top left 2 pictures are Cuba the first one is before the second one is after , the top right one is Syria you can see which one is before and after , lastly the bottom ones are Germany you can tell which ones would be the before and after on that one

Orangutan palm oil

For writing this term we are looking at persuasive language. This is an animation to persuade you that the orangutans need protecting. Their environment is being destroyed for the production of Palm Oil We can stop this by not buying products, that contain Palm oil.
